Featuring a special commentary by Pastor Charlie
.
| To begin this journey, I suggest a diligent look at this magnificent painting of the Calvary. It will take a moment to download, patience will be well rewarded. | |
| "Easter on the Net" This classy site commemorates all aspects of Easter. Well written and excellent design. | |

.
. The Symbols Of Easter by Pastor Charlie Schultz . Everyone is familiar with the meaning and significance of Easter. On that day, Christians from every nation and tribe on earth unite in an outburst of joy and exuberance. It is the zenith, the apogee, the utter pinnacle of the Christian year. Easter is the celebration of the resurrection from the dead of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Christians believe that as a gracious consequence of his resurrection, we, too, may anticipate our resurrection to eternal life. The Church has spoken eloquently of Our Lord's resurrection. One way it has attempted to depict the significance of Easter is through the medium of visual symbols. Here are three of the more interesting symbols for Easter.
"Charlie" |
| "Lent it's not the stuff in your dryer filter." The Latimer Memorial United Methodist Church presents Easter Eternal - Rev. Alex Stevenson. | |
| "Dribbled Eggs" step by step instructions on how to dribble an egg. Basketball players need not apply. | |
| An Easter Parade on an Island in Greece, the town of Corfu celebrates Easter. | |
| "Easter Wreath Dough" You cannot call yourself a baker until you can make one and a home is not Easter complete without one. |
| Madam Lepona looks to the Easter Bunny and offers you an astrological forecast for Easter week. | |
| Step by step instructions to making a Ukranian Easter Egg also called Pysanky. Zia does it again. | |
| "Lent, Easter, the Resurrection" A must see. Art of the Masters are gloriously displayed here. I call this a classy wow site. | |
| "An Easter Poem - It's true meaning." A magical poem, creating enthralling pictures and calming music from words. | |
| "The Funny Bunny Trail" A bunch of wee children offer humourous tips on finding Easter Eggs. You should enjoy this immensely. | |
| And finally this last link is for the lucky folk who are able to enjoy an early spring. Microsoft has a classy page with loads of gardening links-- enjoy. "sigh" More on spring later when I can see and feel it. |
We hope you enjoyed this presentation, thought at first it might be a bit uneventful but the surfing became very interesting.
Thanking Pastor Charlie for adding so much to this month's Duke of Url.
Until next time, may a wee bit of Irish get stuck in your teeth. |
